“There is an inexplicable rush I feel after watching or reading a great film or a story, a mixed bag of emotions and a dopamine kick that makes me feel alive. But this is only the immediate effect, one that dies down after a couple of days. However, a great story has far deeper implications than what meets the eye. I believe it brings a change, a dramatic shift deep within, one that goes unnoticed by our conscious selves many a time. Then, there are stories that have shaped entire societies and dictated moral value systems. Such is the power of storytelling.
